US Sailing Instruction Courses - These are great for beginners,  prospective crewmembers and a good refresher for the more experienced.

US Sailing Portsmouth Ratings for Sailboats - Allows you to compare different boats based on model and equipment.  The lower the Portsmouth rating, the faster the boat.  This is the system used to handicap different boats so that they can race against each other.
